Read what Coach John Peter says
about the APM-B41

This is the Kip Leather version of my favorite catchers mitt; the Professional Series APM -B40... an aweome piece of pro leather! If you need help deciding between both, this should help.

What's different:
The Kip version is 20% lighter, is tighter grained, offers an easier break-in and may have more tensile strength than other kip mitt.

What's the same:
The size, pattern, heaviest lacing, stress wedge to save bone bruising, protecting the index finger and thumb, great comfort and how loud fastballs sound. Pitchers love that loud pop...you know pitchers!

The downside:
Well-built as it is, I can see our Professional Series APM -B40 as lasting longer, though I can't imagine you being unhappy with the performance of this new model APM-B41. The real difference may be found if you are regularly catching guys who throw from the low 80's and up.

A 3rd Choice:
If you are an occasional catcher up to the High School level, a younger player who can handle an adult size glove, or a coach who would love to have an affordable catcher's mitt (which I absolutely encourage), check out our ProSoft APP-B240. You can use it right out of the box (almost game-ready). It's light and reinforced well, but it's just not going to hold up to live High School pitching for more than a season.

My personal guarantee:
If you don't like one of these models...call us right away before it gets used, for a refund...truth be told...I'll be shocked but will absolutely make you happy.
