The ALJ-B101 has a 12" pattern, Flytrap web, open back, medium pocket. Large, as infield gloves go, it is recommended only for High School or older players.
The New Akadema Precision Kip Leather Series is made from leather hides which are harvested in Europe and tanned in Japan. These hot looking models are 20% lighter and have tighter grain than our Professional Series. They are more pliable and easier to break in and have more tensile strength than competitor's glove lines. These are the gloves that more of our D-1 College and Pro players seem to like! Here's a throwback glove. 13 time gold glove shortstop Ozzie Smith used this same type pattern. It is large as infield gloves go, so it is recommended only for High School or older players: those with great hands who just want a bit more leather to help increase range. The flytrap web has great give, so you can really stick the backhand. Good for pitchers too. I could even see it used for a speed-type of outfielder though it's smaller than most outfield gloves.
