Davey Johnson "Most coaches have a pretty good idea about the X's and O's. The great managers and coaches also have a good grasp of things like handling the players, developing team chemistry, learning to use all 25 guys, and keeping players motivated and always ready.

With Dugout Wisdom, Jim has done for coaches, players, and fans what we all would love to do: pick the brains of the top managers in the game and ask them their secrets, their philosophies."
