This book offers an entire coaching system for youth baseball. It lays a solid foundation by establishing the program and the system, including everything from fund-raising to motivation & discipline, team rules to team building, and scouting to practice organization. It then systematically reviews each of the other critical areas of program development in easy-to-understand, yet thorough detail: practicing & executing, hitters & hitting, pitching & pitchers, the running game, depths, cutoffs & pickoffs, positional fundamentals and conditioning drills. Dozens of photographs, illustrations, and checklists make for easy implementation. An ideal book for new coaches and established coaches who understand the importance of systematic program development.
