The Heater pitching machine is the single most efficient entry-level pitching machine available. It is light (53 lbs) and convenient, great for teams on a budget! The Heater has lots of power and ability for such a small machine and it's pitching wheel is made from an air filled tire to improve pitch accuracy and reduce wear on the ball.
We have two Heater models available. The baseball only version will throw at speeds from 15 to 50 MPH (from 60 feet), while the Heater Combo model pitches baseballs up to 60 MPH and softballs up to 56 MPH.

Free Auto Feeder
We have introduced an auto feeder and are including it for FREE with the purchase of any Heater pitching machine. The auto feeder holds 12 baseballs and feeds balls at 12 second intervals. The Heater Combo machine's auto feeder will hold 12 baseballs or 9 softballs (11" or 12").

| The Heater: How It Works |

Notes: Both Coach JP and the manufacturer's warning labels strongly urge the use of machine pitch dimple balls with this machine. These are the seamless yellow balls you see being used at batting cages. They are the same size and weight as leather baseballs. They fly straighter and last longer than leather baseballs, plus they are easier on player's hands and bats. We've got 'em. Order by the dozen, as many as you need, in the blue gutter to the left.
The Heater is a 110v plug-in pitching machine. It does not come in a rechargeable model, but you can use a generator or battery pack, which you can buy from places such as Sam's Club. Just make sure the generator/battery pack can handle 350-400 watts.

You have a choice of 5 lengths - 24', 36', 48', 60' or 72'.
All cages are 12' high x 12' wide.
The net is made of durable 1" nylon squares, a size perfect for containing golf balls and any type of baseball or softball.
The wind-resistant frame is constructed of 1¼" steel and fiberglass arched tops.

We sell top quality dimple balls by the dozen. Our weatherproof yellow balls are the same size and weight as leather baseballs but have a 15% compression ratio that makes them easier on players' bats and hands, especially in colder weather.
