Presently I am teaching out of StrikeZone Baseball in Fort Wayne. I am a former NCAA Division I All American for the University of Louisiana-Lafayette, member of the 1992 Puerto Rico National team that competed in the Summer Games in Barcelona, Spain, and played 10 years for the Minnesota Twins and Chicago Cubs organizations. Over the last 8 years of instruction I have had over 40 students move on to play college baseball with 4 drafted by a Major League organization. I have worked with players as young as 6 years of age to current professional players.

8 years professional baseball experience and 7 years coaching and private lessons. Specializing in hitting and fielding. Fall ball programs and winter workouts also offered. Coach of the 2007 TCBL Champions and 2007 AABC State Champions (Mantle). Many students recruited by colleges and drafted right out of high school.

I teach youth pitchers how to throw the ball with their BODY instead of their ARM. We will focus on proper mechanics, ball location, 3 speeds and SAFETY. Ages 8 and up. Private, semi-private and group lessons available.

I have coached at all levels for 20 years, including eight years of high school ball, and at Purdue University North Central, an NAIA college in northern Indiana. I have published a number of booklets and articles about softball, team building and pitching, most recently in Scholastic Coach and Across the Board. I have also written a book, \"From Bunting To Burnout,\" about my experiences coaching softball. I give a number of clinics each year to groups and teach individually on a limited basis, mostly pitching but all skills as well. My travel teams have finished as high as fifth in the nation (23 and under) and have won nearly every major tournament in the Midwest at one point or another. All my teams combined have won over a thousand games and I have had only one losing season. Our clinics are done at your location, whatever subjects you choose. I have played 4 years of Division 1 baseball at Valparaiso University where I was featured as a weekend starting pitcher for all four years and as the number one pitcher for three of those four years. I also played collegiate summer ball in Alaska which is considered the premier collegiate summer baseball league of the world. I also pitched in the Great Lakes League. I was an all-state selection as a high school senior and was an all-conference selection in college. I know the ins and outs of the art of pitching. I know and can teach the physical and mental tricks that can aid any pitcher of any age to pitch at their maximum potential
