He was the hitting coach at perennial state powerhouse Keystone High School, 2006 High School DII State Champions. Gary was named to the Midwest Regional Coaching Staff in 2006. Before coming to Keystone, he was the head coach at Highland H.S. He has coached successful travel teams over the years, including a 2005 National Championship.

I teach compact, effective pitching mechanics to boys age 8-11. I have studied Dick Mills\' method as well as several other resources for the past two years while teaching my own son, age 9. I use video analysis and extensive bullpen routines, and demonstrate conditioning programs during the off-season. I played five years in the Boston Red Sox organization as an infielder and outfielder. I then played the next six years in the Canadian League and achieved three batting titles and three MVP seasons there. I instructed for the Doyle Baseball School for two years as a level I Instructor. I am the inventor of the Instructo Swing hitting device that was endorsed by Ken Griffey Jr and now endorsed by Louisville Slugger. I instruct in all areas that include hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, baserunning, strength training and conditioning.
