Dear Joe,

I wanted to write a thank you letter to your company now that we have finished our 2006 season. Last year, as you know, I went through just over 200 wooden bats in our first year of the MCBL.

After that, I knew that I needed to look at some other types of wooden bats that were going to be better, not only for myself, but more importantly, for my players. After phone calls to you to make sure I was making the right decision on ordering Brett Bats, I went ahead and ordered 48 total bats, 12 Maple Bamboo bats that were for batting practice and 36 Maple Master bats that were for all of our 51 games.

From our first telephone call you reassured me that your bats would last us the majority of the season if not the whole season, and after my experience last year I had a hard time believing that. As the season went on and your bats were still all in one piece I started to change my mind. Not only are the bats holding up, all of our players liked how they felt and how they performed.

At the end of our season I got back all of the Brett Bats from our players. Out of the 36 Maple Master bats that we used in our games, only nine bats broke and none of our practice bats ever broke. The bats that did break made it through almost the entire season, breaking only in the last three weeks of our season.
