Why we only offer top of the line Louisville Slugger bat models
I really don't believe that you will be a great player if you buy only the best equipment.
I do believe that if you buy cheap equipment that you will not achieve the maximum benefit of your training and your skills.
Equipment you can count on to perform at the highest levels does exactly that. PLUS there is a confidence level that is so important to today's ballplayers!
We feel that our Louisville Slugger aluminum bat models will offer the player maximum strength and longevity, will outperform most competitors, and will offer better balance and pop with the maximum exit velocity allowed! All this while reducing the hand sting and bone bruising associated with cheaper products!

2006 Louisville Slugger -3 oz. Dynasty
This year's top of the line Dynasty model has a great feel and balance when you first pick it up and swing it. Upon making first contact, I could feel the even balance of this high-end bat. The pop was very good (virtually identical with the 2006 Omaha) as was the familiar Louisville sound when making solid contact.
The material of this model is its main difference between this bat and the "sister" Omaha model. The Dynasty is designed to be about 20% stronger than previous editions.
I tested and swung both the 2006 Dynasty and 2006 Omaha and I'm here to tell you, they swing and handle flawlessly and react extremely well to both perfectly hit balls and off-center miss-hit balls!
The main difference in the two bats seems to be that the Dynasty has a new aluminum alloy that is reported to be stronger, meaning that it will theoretically last longer (which drives down the ultimate cost of your bat.)
I then looked deeper into who is using both models.
What I found was that in many of the big-time College Baseball programs that exclusively used Louisville Sluggers.about 6 out of 10 players used the Dynasty while 4 out of 10 swing the lesser-priced Omaha (this was just my informal observation).
My Dynasty Summary
If the Dynasty's price fits you and/or you are the player who just feels that you will perform best if you swing the best bat on the market...the 2006 Dynasty should be your bat!

2006 Louisville Slugger -13.5 oz. Youth League Dynasty
The Louisville Youth Dynasty has the same high-end aluminum alloy as the High School and College model. It's perfect for the most serious young player and absolutely beneficial to the newer or less advanced player too!
The recent advances in materials allow for easier swings that produce more solid contact. Additionally, the player should be able to use this bat longer, which of course lowers the total cost of the purchase. This is a high performance bat with good feel, sound and pop!
