Louisville Slugger Why we only offer top of the line Louisville Slugger bat models
I really don't believe that you will be a great player if you buy only the best equipment.
I do believe that if you buy cheap equipment that you will not achieve the maximum benefit of your training and your skills.

Equipment you can count on to perform at the highest levels does exactly that. PLUS there is a confidence level that is so important to today's ballplayers!

We feel that our Louisville Slugger aluminum bat models will offer the player maximum strength and longevity, will outperform most competitors, and will offer better balance and pop with the maximum exit velocity allowed! All this while reducing the hand sting and bone bruising associated with cheaper products!

Coach JP review Coach JP reviews the...
2006 Louisville Slugger -3 oz. Omaha

I tested and swung both the 2006 Dynasty and 2006 Omaha and I'm here to tell you, they swing and handle flawlessly and react extremely well to both perfectly hit balls and off-center miss-hit balls!
The main difference in the two bats seems to be that the Dynasty has a new aluminum alloy that is reported to be stronger, meaning that it will theoretically last longer (which drives down the ultimate cost of your bat.)
I then looked deeper into who is using both models.
What I found was that in many of the big-time College Baseball programs that exclusively used Louisville Sluggers.about 6 out of 10 players used the Dynasty while 4 out of 10 swing the lesser-priced Omaha (this was just my informal observation).

    My Omaha Summary
If the price difference is a difference to you.
you will be ecstatic with your performance when you purchase the 2006 Omaha.
and you won't look back with any regret!

    A Note About Scandium XS
The Omaha bat is made from one of the most advanced alloys on the aluminum bat market. This alloy is called Scandium XS. It was developed by Alcoa and further enhanced by Louisville Slugger engineers to maximize the overall design, performance and durability of Omaha bats. When Scandium XS is added to aluminum the alloy's grain structure tightens, and this is the secret behind the Omaha's strength and durability.
