About the Coaches
Pete Caliendo has been a professional baseball coach and scout for over 15 years. He has coached in 11 countries, been an instructor for Major League Baseball International and USA Baseball, run the Belgium National team, and has been responsible for selection and development of U.S. entries in the Pan American Youth Championships, guiding those teams to gold medals in 1992, 1993 and 1996. For the last two years, Pete has been the Director of Baseball Operations and first base coach for the Schaumburg (IL) Flyers of the independent Northern League. He has previously scouted for the Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays.
Marty Schupak has been recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association and his videos have been recommended by the National Alliance of Youth Sports, the largest amateur coaching training organization in the country. He has a Master's Degree in Physical Education from Arizona State University and his youth baseball teams have won championships year after year.
