ABOUT THE COACH
Rich Taylor
served as the pitching coach at Pepperdine University for six seasons after coaching on the high school and junior college level. While at Pepperdine he developed three All-Americans and 14 pitchers who signed professional contracts. Taylor left Pepperdine in 1986 to became a scout for the Chicago White Sox. He was also the original co-owner of the West Coast Baseball School in Southern California and upon leaving had a clientele of over 500 youth pitchers. After over 20 years of working with youth players, Taylor has become one of the nation's leading authorities on pitching mechanics for youth baseball players. He now resides in San Jose, California and devotes time to developing youth pitchers, instructing coaches and conducting clinics nationwide.Ask The Coach
