"This video demonstrates how to build an efficient pitching motion and how to recognize and correct common faults that often lead to pitching arm injuries." Those are the words Coach Bill Thurston uses to describe his instructional video, which was released on DVD in January of 2006.
Thurston is one of the most renowned pitching coaches in the game of baseball, and this tape is his legacy. It provides a very detailed analysis of the pitching motion based on slow-motion video research of over 300 high school, college and pro pitchers.

Bill Thurston has been the head baseball coach at Amherst College (MA) for 42 years, where he has won nearly 65% of all games played (771-441). Since 1990, he has served as pitching consultant for the American Sports Medicine Institute (ASMI).
